Policies

Check-in time starts at 1:00 p.m. Please be sure to check out by 12:00 p.m. on your departure day to allow us to prepare the room for the next guest. If you need a late check-out, please talk to the front desk in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate your request if we can.

To maintain a peaceful environment, we observe quiet hours from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Please keep noise levels to a minimum during these hours, especially in hallways and shared spaces. This helps ensure that all guests can enjoy a restful night’s sleep. During quiet hours, the dance hall on the ground floor is available for quiet activities.

Between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. we have a drumming and dancing session for local children. Feel free to observe or join in the fun!

For the health and comfort of all our guests, our hotel is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is strictly prohibited in guest rooms, balconies, and all indoor public spaces. Designated smoking areas are available outside the hotel. A cleaning fee will be charged if this policy is violated.

For your safety, please ensure that your door is securely locked when you are in your room and when you leave. Report any suspicious activity to the front desk immediately. Do not leave valuables unattended. Akpe does not accept responsibility for any lost items.

Please treat hotel property with care. Any damage to hotel property by a guest may result in additional charges. If you notice any issues or damage in your room upon arrival, please report to the front desk immediately.

Help in the fight to conserve Ghana’s limited electricity by turning off all electrical appliances, water heater, air conditioning, lights, fan, and all switches when going out of the room.

Avoid blocking our fragile sewage system. Please put used toilet paper and other hygiene items in the dustbin.
